An Octopus and a Mouse

I decided that because I don’t really have time to do oil painting that I would try and squeeze in some short, small and simple illustrations. I named this part one in the hopes that others will follow on other days. I put them in a black border because I would probably put them with a black mat.

They are both 5×7.

Owl Genie Bookmark

Summer Tomatoes

I painted these in July after buying some heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil from the Durham Farmer’s Market. I don’t know how I managed to forget to post them for so long, but January seems like a great time to start wishing for fresh picked tomatoes again, so I thought I would post them now.
