Hello there and thank you for visiting my personal website which primarily houses my blog and some pages on my art work.

My name is Alicia and that is pronounced: A Lee See A.
There is no “sh” sound.

Me

I’m from Minnesota and currently living in and loving North Carolina. By day I work through my company Graphic Karma Inc. to provide lots of really neat businesses and individuals with websites, brand identity and print design. In my free time I love to oil paint and play with my dog Phoenix. My husband Robert and I moved to North Carolina so he could attend Seminary at Duke University. He wants to be a professor so he’s going to be in school a really long time. But I work with businesses all over the country, so I am lucky enough to be ably to relocate. I am also in the process of authoring a book for Manning Publications called Websites with WordPress.

I have only been writing in this blog for about a year. Before that I tried and failed at multiple blogs. The problem is I have too many interests and I tried to maintain blogs about each! In the end I decided to blow them all away and start this one which covers all things that interest me. In the end it’s a blog which is supposed to cater to me more than I to it. I just don’t currently have time to maintain more than one. One of my goals in the not too distant future is to provide multiple category feeds for people who want to subscribe to just some of the content.
