I think your painting is very good though. I have the same problem; I am very self critical and have a probelm finishing paintings. Classes are fun but I need more technical skills. I need to find the right class. I started out on small boards but it's different (I'd say more difficult for me) on larger canveses. Self instruction painting books do help, following through from start to finish at home. I need a professional class (probably on landscapes) so I can commit more technical skill to memory. i do use acrylics. Good luck to you and keep painting! I’m so glad i read your email.
